My name is George Medlock, and I’m a proud veteran, former schoolteacher, and lifelong resident of Scotland County.

Laurinburg and the Stewartsville district are home to me — they’re where I raised my family and built my life.

I believe in service. I learned that in the military, and I carried it into my work as a teacher and civil servant. My wife’s is a retired teacher, and even after work we still tutor local kids because we believe in our schools and our future.

I’ve had chances to leave, but I chose to stay — because I love this community. I’m running for county commissioner to serve Stewartsville and all of Scotland County with honesty, hard work, and common sense.
